Digital Gangrena with Anaerobes (neglected panaris)
(H.C., m., 30 ani / years old)
Clinical Manifestation: massive swelling of the distal phalanx of the right middle finger, black-coloured skin, fetid smell.
Clinic: tumefacție masivă a segmentului distal a mediusului mâinii drepte, cu pielea de culoare neagră, degajând un miros fetid.
 Finger Radiography: note the presence of gas bubbles within the soft tissue ( infection with anaerobes).
Radiografia degetului: se remarcă prezența bulelor de gaz în țesuturile moi (infecție cu germeni anaerobi).
 
Operation: disarticulation of the distal phalanx.
Operația: dezarticulația segmentului digital distal.
